Stories for the Ladies
All women are invited to the WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) Morning Circle Friday, December 13, 10 am
“Once Upon a Time. . .” (more stories of Christmas) as told by Rozella Bower.
Afterwards join us for lunch at GG’s Restaurant at the Doubletree Fellowship Rd., Mt. Laurel, NJ. RSVP to Virginia Sheppard.

Advent/Christmas Concert ~ Sunday, Dec. 15, 4pm

Theme: “Visit Us With Your Salvation”
Followed by an Advent Potluck, 5:30 PM in Fellowship Hall

WANTED: Decorators, Greens & Holly

Decorators are needed for the Christmas season—all helping hands will be welcomed on Saturday, Dec. 21, 9am. Greens and holly are also needed. Please contact Lynne Ganskopp to make arrangements for getting the greens/holly to church.

Children’s Christmas Program ~ Sunday, Dec. 22, 9:45am

Theme: “Walk in the Light”
Presented by the Sunday School Children (ages 3 yrs. old through 8th Grade) to be held in Fellowship Hall.
NOTE: There will be only one rehearsal on Sunday, Dec. 15 during Sunday School.

Camden Kids Christmas Party
Please join us at the Camden Kids Dinner on Tuesday, Dec, 10th 6:30 pm. Anyone wishing to help, see the sign up sheet in the narthex. Don’t forget the cupcakes. There is a tote in the foyer for gently used donated books. All are welcome.

The Giving Tree for Twin Oaks Community Services
You can take a tag from the tree on December 1. All wrapped gifts will be picked up on Sunday, Dec. 15, 11am. Thank you for making a happy Christmas for 80 children.  Note:

Collection for Overseas Troops
With US troops now out of Iraq and our troops currently in Afghanistan due to come home in 2014, we may forget that there are still thousands of our troops deployed around the world, far from their families and friends for the upcoming holiday. Read More →

New Visions Outerwear Collection
The Miller Family is once again collecting gently used coats, hats, gloves, boots, blankets for New Visions Homeless Shelter. Please donate these items untill Dec. 15.

Bridge of Peace Youth Group: Casseroles & Salad Needed Dec. 15
Bridge of Peace holds youth group meetings on Tuesday nights. It begins with a casserole dinner and salad. We’re looking to supply 5 casseroles and salad for Dec. 17th. If you are able to make a 13×9 casserole, please sign up on the foyer bulletin board. The casserole and salad items can be dropped off at SMLC on Sunday, Dec. 15, 11am service.
