With US troops now out of Iraq and our troops currently in Afghanistan due to come home in 2014, we may tend to forget that there are still thousands of our troops deployed around the world, far from their families and friends for the upcoming holiday.

For the past six years hundreds of Lockheed Martin Employees, along with members of the Moorestown Community have remembered these troops by collecting gifts, wrapping them and sending them overseas to add a little joy to their holidays and to remind them that we appreciate their sacrifices to ensure our freedom here at home. Whether big or small, civilian or military, regardless of religion or beliefs this good gesture would be a great experience for children, spouses, civilians, friends and family.
Furthermore, it would allow us to reflect and look back to remember what is important to us and why they make the sacrifices they make. The way I always understood it is “United we stand / Divided we Fall”. –Kimberly Villani
