Stephen Ministers are here to listen, pray, and help you navigate this new world.
We have lived in COVID mode since last March and for so many of us we have actually grown accustomed to being isolated and wearing masks and socially distancing from each other. It has almost become second nature. For many just the idea of going into a grocery store or someplace like Home Depot gives us shivers of concern. On the other hand, there are those of us who want out! To mask or not to mask?

The good news is the availability of the COVID vaccines. Doors seem to be cracking open to being with our beloved families and friends. It is so important for everyone who is physically able to get their shots so life can begin to return to whatever our new normal will be.
At the New Jersey Synod Assembly a couple of weeks ago we spent time with the Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 43:18-21. The prophet wrote these words that speak so clearly about the world as we wake up from our COVID slumber.
“Do not remember the former things, Or consider the things of old. I am about to do a new thing; Now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?”
Are you struggling with how your world is changing as a result of COVID? Are you dealing with sadness at all the things that you have missed in the past year? Are you fearful of how so much will be very different in the days and months ahead?
It might be the perfect time to contact Pastor Eric or Sue Kuhn about meeting with a trained Stephen Minister. They are here to listen to you, pray with you and help you to walk in this new world of ours.
