WORSHIP

Reopening SMLC — September 13

We reopened our sanctuary for Sunday worship, in addition to live streaming the service. It has felt good to have worshippers in the sanctuary and many precautions have been taken to insure everyone’s safety. We have had about 35 people in attendance each week and can accommodate up to 50 people.

RSVP for In-Person Worship

Email Deacon Bill to reserve your pew seat (by Friday Noon); if we reach our maximum socially distanced capacity, your request will be forwarded to the following week.

Outdoor Communion Service — September 20

A lovely outdoor communion service was held for our members. If the weather continues to cooperate, we are planning to continue this service on Sunday October 4th and 18th at 5pm. Watch the eblasts for updated information.

Live Streaming with YOUTUBE — September 27

Since we have decided to continue to live stream our services indefinitely, a new camera system has been developed and installed. This system will provide us with more clarity and stability for our broadcasts, which will now be over YouTube. At the same time, it will not be possible to see others who are also online. It is our prayer and expectation that this system provides for you a more vivid and engaged experience of our worship.

Sign Up for Flowers

Email Kim if you would like to order an arrangement for a particular Sunday. Flowers cost $40.

Special Thanks To:

Karen Widin for being part of the Virtual Team and moderating the system every Sunday this summer! We were so grateful to have your help as we developed and implemented the live stream process.

Volunteer to be Part of the Virtual Team

What’s New on Website?

Answer: A new tab called “Worship Resources” featuring:

  • The weekly worship bulletin to download to read along on your phone or print
  • Begin your week with a devotion by Pastor Eric
  • Worship Assistant Schedules (soon to be added)

We thank you all for your continued willingness to adjust to new systems as we try to make this process easier for everyone. Do continue to read emails and eblasts for updated information.
