April 6th Wednesday Evening Prayer

Wednesdays during Lent. Worship at 7:30 in-person or via live stream. Theme: Stories of the Pandemic. Each week hear a member of the congregation share their experience during the pandemic, the challenges, and the ways they saw God anew.


April 10th Wrath and Justness

Sloth is not a word used particularly frequently in everyday Anger is a part of human emotions, and a sign that something is wrong. How do we distinguish helpful feelings and expressions of anger from harmful ones? For background reading, read Canto 15-16 of Purgatorio.


April 14th Maundy Thursday Foot Washing Ceremony 6PM—7PM, Worship 7:30PM

In John 13, Jesus washes his disciples feet as part of the Last Supper.In many places, the ritual act of foot washing is part of the MaundyThursday worship. This is in following Jesus’ command in John 13:14-15 that his disciples should wash one another’s feet. An opportunity for foot washing will be included in our Maundy Thursday worship.You are not required to participate in the ritual, but you are invited to have your feet washed if you wish.

Saturday, April 16th at 10:30 Easter Egg Hunt

Bring a friend! Hear the Easter Story with Pastor Eric. Join us in making chalk drawings to wish people a Happy Easter, and of course an Easter Egg Hund. RSVP to peggy_marks@comcast.net


Saturday, April 23 at 7:00 Spring Concert

Join us in-person or online for Celtic and Country music sung by Charlie Zahm, one of the country’s most popular soloists at music festivals, maritime, and American traditional music events. With a baritone voice some have described as “coming along once in a generation,” Zahm has become one of the most successful performers on the Celtic festival circuit, weaving magical moments of Scottish and Irish history with a passion for the performance.


April 25 – Earth Day Activity Time

On Sunday, April 24, in celebration of Earth Day 2022, following worship we welcome the entire St. Matthew congregation to a blessing of the Pollinator Garden, followed by a garden tour and native plant give-away. Come and join in fellowship.
