The desert and the dry land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom like the crocus.
They will burst into bloom,
and rejoice with joy and singing.
They will receive the glory of Lebanon,
the splendor of Carmel and Sharon.
They will see the Lord’s glory,
the splendor of our God.
Strengthen the weak hands,
and support the unsteady knees. – Isaiah 35:1-3 (CEB)
Have you spotted pollinators in our pollinator garden yet this summer? If you haven’t, go spend a few minutes by the garden. There are generally dozens of bees and other pollinators moving amongst the flowers.
As you look, slow yourself down. Take a moment to bask in the little wonders of God’s creation. God’s glory is present around us, if we but open ourselves to see it. Take a moment whenever you are coming by the property to stop and feel the buzzing vitality that is God’s creative force in the world. You need not stay long, but immerse yourself for a moment in God’s goodness.
