God’s love comes to us in Christ, and the Holy Spirit enables us, calls us, to live out that love.
Learn how to be an Upstander (not just a bystander) to help combat racism, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, sexism and other “isms.” Open to all ages 12 and up. We will open our doors on Sunday, March 10th to the entire community from 1-3:30pm for a free interactive workshop.
MooreUnity will lead us as we practice handling situations where we witness or experience discrimination, stereotyping, prejudice and other similar behaviors. We’ll learn how to stand up for ourselves and others to build a more peaceful and just community. Even though we will be dealing with some uncomfortable topics, you’ll gain new perspectives in an engaging experience.
