Thank You Notes

Food Pantry

We continue to serve our community and the surrounding communities. We are receiving fewer donations than in the recent past, however. Peanut butter, jelly, baked beans and canned fruit are always needed, but we can use all non-perishable donations.

We are seeing an increase in the number of families who are coming during pantry hours. Our most recent opening had almost 50 families visiting us. We welcome all who need us. Thank you for your continued support. Happy Easter!!

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service

Thank you for your generous gift of $500. Because of your support we can provide much needed help to refugee and migrant families and our ongoing work in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Your gift is providing life-sustaining care for migrant and refugee families both as they arrive and during the time it takes to build a new life. Thanks to you, children who are separated from their parents have been reunited with their loved ones and given resources and connections needed to recover from trauma. By helping welcome the stranger, you are sending a powerful message of hope conquering fear.

Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development

Thank you for your very generous gift. Your support of our residents helps us to promote the welfare of low and moderate-income individuals and families, including senior citizens and persons with disabilities, who do not possess the financial means to furnish themselves with a decent, safe, and affordable home.

Hello Sisters and Brothers,

I’m glad to share with you all that I have finally arrived in Zambia to begin my new call as an ELCA global missionary with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zambia (ELCZa). Thank you for all your prayers and support over these past months of waiting and anticipating my deployment in Zambia.

I can share that I have been warmly welcomed by the ELCZa leaders who have gotten me settled and are introducing me to Zambia and the people of the Lutheran church here. I’ve recently written a new blog post about my first week in Zambia.
