Christus Lutheran Academy is Looking for Volunteers
In their December newsletter, there is an article that features a rocket launch by the Physical Science class and shows a picture of volunteer teacher, Ken Floyd. Mr. Floyd is a certified science teacher and retired engineer from St. James Pitman, who volunteered this year to teach one class 2 days/week. We offer it as an example of how others can plug into the mission here in Camden. Not everyone has the same gifts as Ken (science teacher and engineer), but we have been absolutely delighted by the gifts and generosity of the people like Ken. If you are interested in volunteering, please email our principals, Mrs. Elizabeth Mauro, and to Pastor Carol Book.
Clothes for New Visions Center
With the change in seasons upon us, donations of clothing items that you no longer need would be much appreciated for New Visions Center. Clothing for children, women or men is needed. Clothing for New Visions is stored downstairs in the Teen Den area. If you leave your donation on the long bench in the foyer, we will see that it gets to the proper place. If you have any questions, please call Bob Ganskopp.
