Rescheduled Due to Blizzard: 2016 Semi-Annual Congregational Meeting
Members of St. Matthew: Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the Feb. 7 2016 Semi-Annual Congregational Meeting following the 11:00 AM service.
This meeting is critical for the on-going operation of SMLC as it is at this meeting where the congregation votes to approve a budget for 2016. Financial reports include:
- Treasurers Budget Report for Year End 2015, including the results of the 2015 Budget Deficit Appeal
- Results of the 2015 Stewardship campaign which establishes the income basis for the 2016 budget
- 2016 Proposed Budget prepared by the Finance Committee and approved by the Congregation Council for Congregation consideration and approval
- Status of the three (3) year Phase 1 Capital Appeal which began in June 2014 in support of Major Capital Projects managed by the Property Committee and approved by the Congregation Council.
The meeting typically lasts under an hour – so there will be plenty of time to get ready for the Superbowl, with its start time of 6:30pm!
