Members of Boy Scout Troop 42, which meets at the church during the school year, joined the congregation for Scout Sunday on May 15 to showcase some of the skills they’ve learned and talk about the community service projects they’ve done in the last two years. Six members of the troop either have completed or are in the process of completing their Eagle Scout projects this year.
Girl Scout Silver Award Project
We received an update from the Girl Scouts, who are working on their Silver Award Project to heighten awareness on animal abandonment in our region.
“Thank you so much for all you have done to help our project! We greatly appreciate it! The donation went well, but we are still waiting to collect all the supplies together.”
