Saint Matthew Is Closed

Grace to you and peace from our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Amen.

In accordance with the CDC recommendations and the Burlington County Health Department directives, at our March 16 Council Meeting, the following decisions were made to follow the guidelines set for the Burlington County Schools, therefore:

Our building is closed.

There will be no Sunday morning or Wednesday evening worship for at least 4 weeks (including no Holy Week & Easter services); no church meetings or outside group meetings.

To contact the staff:

We will be creating weekly prayer services online.

They will be posted on Sundays by noon.

In this crisis we still need your financial support!

Please mail your checks in your offering envelope to church as we will continue to make weekly bank deposits.

Our spirits need nourishment also, and I will be communicating more later on how we will stay connected. In the meantime, I want to share with you from St. Paul’s letter to the Romans:

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ, Jesus our Lord.”
–Romans 8:38-39

God’s peace be with you.

In Christ,
Pastor Margaret M. Marks
