Shawn was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in June 2019. His treatment plan includes chemotherapy, stem cell and bone marrow transplants and radiation. Blood and platelet transfusions are also a regular part of his treatment. Patients like Shawn rely on the generosity of volunteer blood donors and sponsors to help them continue to fight.
