Property

  • Property has been adjusting to the members’ concerns about community spread by working projects individually or in pairs.
  • We changed the exit lamps per the fire inspector’s requirements. (Steve Cathcart and Charlie Lange)
  • We oversaw the re-installation of the four highest light canisters in the Sanctuary (Steve, Dennis, John and Charlie) and re-installed the software (John and Charlie). No flashing has been observed.
  • The air filters in the two roof air conditioners were changed. (Brian, John, Charlie)
  • The regular (monthly) exit light checks have been performed by Brian Schultz.
  • We sent out the lawn tractor for repair a second time only to have it unusable when Dave hit a root in the grove. John and Charlie replaced the broken belts and pulley but there is a linkage problem which will require service.
  • After the recent storm John and Charlie marked trees for removal. Estimates were obtained and the work has been awarded to Hyperion for a quote of roughly $6,500. The high estimate was $14,500. Work will commence at the end of August due to the widespread effects of the storm. (see pictures below)
  • We will be getting the apartment ready for Pastor Trozzo and family. We have a checklist developed and Dennis Lawrence and Brian Schultz will start work on Wednesday.
  • We will be addressing the lighting problem in the Teen Den.
  • We will do the best we can with the limited manpower we have due to Covid-19. Several members are not active due to complicating medical conditions in themselves or spouses.
