OWLS – What are Legacy Letters ?

Join us on Thursday Feb 6 at noon in the library to enjoy lunch together and learn about an effective way to pass on our values, beliefs, and life lessons to our families and others through the use of legacy letters.

The presentation on this fascinating ages-old practice will be given by Mary VanOsten, St Matthew’s Administrative Assistant and a local personal historian.

These letters can be used to accompany your legal   documents; share notes of love and gratitude; illustrate you faith in life; pass along family history; share stories of heirlooms; or to define intentions of charitable  giving. Legacy Letters are also known as an ethical will or family love letters.

Bring your own favorite sandwich or salad , and hostesses will provide delicious desserts.  Iced and hot water, as well as, brewed coffee will be available.
