Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
After a lengthy and diligent search, our Call Committee enthusiastically recommended the Rev. Dr. Eric J. Trozzo to be St. Matthew’s next pastor (resume attached). The Congregation Council and Call Committee subsequently met with Pastor Trozzo on June 27th and it is our pleasure to announce Council’s unanimous approval of the Committee’s recommendation. Now, it is your turn to meet with (virtually) and vote on extending a call to the candidate.

Meet & Greet, Saturday, July 25th, 7-9PM
Join this virtual event to informally meet and greet Pastor Trozzo at 7PM, Saturday, July 25th. This is an opportunity to get to know Pastor Trozzo and ask questions in a setting less formal than the Sunday Congregation Meeting. To help facilitate this session, if you know of questions in advance that you would like to ask Pastor Trozzo, please email them to the Church office prior to the meeting. Live questions may also be asked following the attached Instructions.
Worship Service and Congregation Meeting, Sunday, July 26th
Pastor Trozzo will preach and conduct our worship service at 9:30AM on Sunday, July 26th. Immediately following the service, a Special Congregation Meeting will be conducted at 10:15AM for the sole purpose of considering and voting on extending a call to Pastor Trozzo to be the next pastor at Saint Matthew. Join the live service and Congregation Meeting using the virtual link which was mailed to all members.
The virtual Congregation Meeting format has been approved by the NJ Synod. The church building remains closed.
