Accessibility Project Update

The 5-Year Capital Appeal for St. Matthew’s Accessibility Project has been tremendously successful in raising $423,210 for this important project. This generous giving by some 58 members of our Congregation covers 95% of the Project’s estimated cost, and greatly reduces the amount of the construction loan needed to proceed with the Project. Compared to previous capital appeals for facility improvements at St. Matthew, the amount raised for this Appeal more than doubles that of our prior appeal just a decade ago. The Construction Contract with M. Wilkinson Construction Company of Maple Shade was signed on September 26th. The arduous task of securing building permits is progressing and construction is expected to begin within a few weeks!
