The Green Team is excited to be starting the year with a full slate of programs and events – and we would love you to join us! If you feel called to help fulfill our ministry’s mission, “To reveal the connection of our congregation and community to God’s presence in the natural world, by fostering a culture of environmental reflection, engagement and stewardship,” then please consider signing up to join our team. Meetings are held on ministry night; adults and youth (7th grade and up) are welcome.
Our 2018-2019 program includes:
- Meatless Monday
- Adult Forum
- NJ Farmers Against Hunger (NJ FAH) volunteer events, and other service opportunities
- Children’s Pollinator Garden Expansion
- 4R’s program for congregation and Sunday School/Youth ministries: “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—Rejoice!”
Upcoming events in September include:
- Sept 8: Natural Area Care outing with Save the Environment of Moorestown (STEM)
- Sept 29: NJ Council of Churches/GreenFaith “Faith-based Environmental Action for New Jersey Conference”
