Join Us for DEI Anti-Racism Conversations: Share Ideas and Enjoy Goodies!

Join us on May 18, 2025, in the St. Matthew library after the 10:30 worship service for an engaging discussion on anti-racism. Come share your thoughts and enjoy some treats!

The DEI Committee has been meeting monthly after service to explore how we can engage in challenging topics. Come share your ideas. New members always welcome.

Have you ever been faced with a situation that you were uncertain about or how to respond? It may have been a remark that disturbed or shocked you? Perhaps that was a racial or political remark or something said out of ignorance or lack of empathy or compassion. There are ways to respond to such a comment that are respectful without condoning the comment.

Those steps that can be learned and practiced will help you deal with such situations. It is called CPR Protocol. Come to the meeting to learn about the Protocol and observe how it works. It will help in responding to conversations in a more loving way to prevent it from escalating into something that could damage a relationship.

Please join us.
