Fellowship & Congregational Care

Karen and I can’t thank everyone enough for the marvelous turnout for our very first God’s Work Our Hands Sunday on September 11th. Muddy jeans and happy smiles from our homebound made it a wonderful and meaningful day. Please enjoy all the pictures Mary has put together for us.

Then our first St. Matthew Day opening of Sunday School and outdoor picnic!! So many helped to create a fun filled day of food and games and water ice and laughter. Thank you thank you. Some of you even tried some new meatless options from the Green Team. And then the blessings continued as all left over hamburgers and hot dogs and buns were shared with our guests at the Food Pantry the next day.

Again please enjoy all the pictures which include the dedication of the Eagle Scout projects. The Worship Grove is so beautiful. Join us in worship there on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and hear the birds sing.

November will be our month to share with our Food Pantry and the Lunch Bunch. Items which have been requested are: Laundry and dish detergent, Toilet paper and Paper towels, coffee and tea, rice and baked beans, spaghetti sauce and pasta and peanut butter and jelly. We will have baskets ready to receive your items as of November 6th.

We are looking for fun loving & caring folks to help us on FCC. As we move ahead Karen and I are planning to do more outreach to our homebound members. They are lonely and need more TLC.
