FCC held a special event on Sunday, May 16 to thank our current Sunday school teachers, our retired Sunday school teachers, and Deacon Bill. Pastor Peggy and Toby, and Karen Widin and Ralph presented prayers and gifts for our teachers and Deacon Bill. The children showed their thanks by drawing pictures and everyone sang the Johnny Apple Seed song as another way to give thanks for our teachers and Deacon Bill.

A donation was made to purchase a “Sunday school start-up kit; this cares for God’s little ones with a gift to nurture their faith, along with lessons, supplies and teaching aids to equip fast- growing communities of faith with Christian education materials to make the gospel accessible to children of all ages.” - In honor of Deacon Bill
A donation was made to purchase “Seeds and gardening tools; these will help a new gardener grow with new tools, seeds and agricultural training, a family can start their own small garden, improve their daily nutrition, and increase their earning power.”
