We are excited to once again be joining our local mission partner, New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger, for the annual Thanksgiving Packing Event, which will be held on Friday, November 18th from 6 to 8pm at the Land Stewardship Center at Laurel Run Park, 173 Creek Road, Delran.
We will be packing farm-fresh produce for distribution to local families in need for the holiday. This is a great service project for all ages, including families, seniors and confirmands/mentors.
It will be held at a new location this year!
We will plan to meet directly at the venue. If you need a ride, please let us know when RSVP’ing for the event.
Since the event will be held at a new time slot this year, we are inviting the volunteers to stay for a pizza party afterwards.
We recommend wearing warm layers and gloves, because we will be packing outside.
