Adult Forum Dec. 4 – Love With One Voice

What do healthy and productive relationships look like? Pastor Eric will present one approach to a “roadmap” to relationships. Whether romantic, family, work, or congregational relationships, there are certain predictable patterns for how relationships function. In particular, in any meaningful relationship conflict of some sort is inevitable. Much comes from how those small moments are dealt with, opening up different possibilities for whether the relationship thrives or decays. Come hear about this roadmap to navigating all of these relationships. Pick up or download your theological word-a-day Advent calendar.

Adult Forum Dec. 11 – Signs of Love

Love in an invisible emotion, and yet it is vital to our healthy living. Recognizing God’s love in our lives and expressing our love towards others can be difficult. One of the most effective ways of making sense of our deepest emotions is through ritual. We will look this week at some rituals and traditions in Christian spirituality that can help us be more aware of the signs of love around us. Greening the Sanctuary Sunday, December 18th

Following the 10:15 service on December 18th, we hope you can all join together as we begin to prepare the sanctuary and the narthex for Christmas.  We’ll put up decorations, bring in the poinsettias and add the Krismons to the tree.  After decorating, we can all enjoy some refreshments!

Greening the Sanctuary Thursday, December 22nd

At 9:30, we’ll complete the decorating and make sure that our sanctuary is as beautiful as always, as we prepare for Christ’s arrival.  Please join us to add holly to the candle poles and fill the baskets with greens.  We will need donations of holly with red berries and other greens. Please let Chris Cassel know if you can help or donate greens.
