October Greetings from the Christian Learning Formation Ministry! CLF has quite a lot planned for the month of October! There will be Adult Forum between services every Sunday, and Confirmation Class will meet 4:00-6:00 on October 20th.
We also plan to help collect items that will be needed for the “God’s Work, Our Hands” activities on Sunday October 13th. We are asking for donations of small vases for flowers, and supplies for the Burlington County Animal Shelter: Peanut Butter, Spray Cheese, XL Black Kongs, Frisbees, Feliway Calming Spray, Adaptil Travel Spray, MED or LARGE MilkBones, Pumpkin Puree, Unopened Dry and Wet Dog and Cat Food, Unopened and Dry and Wet Kitten Food (Pate) , Dog Treats, Kitten Milk Replacement, Formula Bottles, Miracle Nipples for Cats (Long-Short) Cat Toys, Cat Treats, Non-Clumping Cat Litter, Slip-Lead Leashes, Dog Collars& Leashes(Med and Large Sizes) Clorox Wipes, Paper Towels, Bleach, Dawn Dish Soap, Sponges, Ziplock bags (Gallon and Quart Sizes, Wee-Wee pads, Food Bowls, Large and XL Dog Crates, Bath and Hand Towels, Bitter Apple Spray, Wild Bird Seed, Paper Towel and Toilet Paper Tubes, Tube Socks, WHITE Rice, and Small Animal and Reptile Supplies (food, toys, enclosures, heat sources). Any donation, no matter how big or small, is appreciated!
We had a wonderful return to our Sunday School Program on September 15th! It was great to see old and new faces, and share stories from the summer. In-line with Pastor Eric’s sermons on the Season of Creation, the children assembled bird feeders and were sent home with bird seed to help God Care for the Birds!!
This year, the Sunday School offerings will be allocated to supporting the creation of a Little Library Book Exchange on SMLC property for the community to enjoy. The children were very excited about supporting this project, and we encourage parents and kiddos alike to bring in your change!
