CHRISTIAN LEARNING & FORMATION

Easter Greetings from CLF!

On March 7, Sunday School began the spring curriculum “Our Identity is Changed!” with Cross Roads and Luther Crest. We would love for your family to join us in the last stretch of virtual Sunday School. If you would like information, or if you are a participating family that would like to provide any feedback, please email Melissa at mfickes8@gmail.com. As of right now, our last scheduled Sunday for virtual Sunday School with Cross Roads and Luther Crest is May 9th.

On Saturday, April 3, 11AM, please join FCC and Pastor Eric in the grove for a socially distanced reading of the Easter Story, chalking of the parking lot, and an Easter Egg Hunt! All children ages 2-10 are welcome, but please RSVP to Peggy Marks.

On Sunday, April 25, 10:30AM, CLF invites all parents to join Adult Forum for a presentation by Anthony Briggs, Director from Cross Roads Camp & Retreat Center. Afterwards at 11:15AM, we invite all Sunday School children Pre-K through 6th grade to join Barbara Duffy and Lorraine Horton as they present, “YOU Can Be An Environmental Superhero.” for Earth Day. We anticipate this will be a lot of fun, and is a great way for Saint Matthew children to fellowship together! See your eblast for the Zoom link; it will not be the current Sunday School link from Cross Roads.

First Communion classes for second graders are scheduled for Wednesdays, April 21st & 28th at 3PM. First Communion will be Sunday, May 2nd.

Finally, we are prayerfully asking that you consider dropping off or mailing your Sunday School and Adult Forum offering to the church office, so we can continue to support our partners in ministry, NJ Farmers Against Hunger and Young Adults in Global Mission.
