Our Christian Learning & Formation (CLF) ministry is buzzing with joy after a wonderful end to the Sunday School year! On April 27th, we held our celebration, and though construction moved us indoors, it couldn’t dampen our spirits. We had a fantastic time celebrating our teachers, youth, parents, and Earth Day with nature-themed games like tic-tac-toe with branches and rocks and some lively Earth Day Charades! Each child was sent home with two plants to care for over the summer, a living reminder of how God cares for us.
We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated Sunday School teachers—Meghan Campbell, Patricia Covington, Melissa Feeney, Rev. Peggy Marks, and Audra Uhlig—and our Families Ministries Coordinator, Costantino Spinosa, for their support and leadership.
Congratulations are also in order for the Baab family, who celebrated their First Communion on May 18th!

Looking Ahead & A Call for Volunteers
While Sunday School and Confirmation classes are on break until September, CLF hopes to plan some kid-friendly events over the summer, so stay tuned for details!
As we plan for the fall, we are always looking for volunteers to help with Sunday School and to assist Pastor Eric with the Adult Forum. If you feel called to share a small portion of your time in this vital part of our church’s life, please contact Cos at families@stmatthew-lutheran.org.
Finally, we offer a special thank you to Melissa Feeney, who is stepping down after six years of dedicated service as the CLF Ministry Chair to Council. Her leadership has been a true blessing to our community.
