8 Youth Group Supper Casseroles, Salads, Beverages & Dessert 30 – 40 youth & adults meet at Bridge of Peace every Tuesday, beginning with supper. SMLC provides a full course supper the 3 rd Tuesday of each month Sign – up sheet is on the bulletin board Leave donations in Teen Den refrigerator (or nearby it) by Sun., Jan. 18, 11am . Tuesday, Jan. 20 th Theme: Chili Night We are asking for five trays of homemade chili with beef, along with salad and beverages. Use your own recipe of follow this one: 1 lb. ground beef (browned) 1 jar tomato sauce 2 large cans red kidney beans Chili powder 1 diced onion 1 diced sweet pepper In large pot add ingredients, bring to a boil then simmer on low heat uncovered about an hr. Place in foil pan and ready to reheat and serve later. Other items to donate anytime: Sturdy paper plates, plastic utensils, cups, napkins, apple juice, lemonade, water and condiments i.e. salad dressing, ketchup, mustard etc. These items can be placed in the teen den or in the foyer near the mailboxes clearly marked “BOP Youth Supper.” — Lisa Merrill, BOP Communicator momm6434@hotmail.com
