We enjoyed another sold out performance from the Walnut Street Theater on March 1.
Many thanks to the performers and every volunteer involved in preparing Fellowship Hall for the Cabaret Soiree. Thank you Joe and Kim Villani for generously hosting this event and donating the new fireproof drapery.

Last month, St. Matthew’s Fellowship Hall came alive with the enchanting sounds of Broadway show tunes and specialty compositions as talented performers from Philadelphia’s renowned Walnut Street Theatre took the stage for an unforgettable Cabaret Soirée. The event, held on March 1 from 7–9 PM, delighted attendees with an evening of music, storytelling, and theatrical elegance.
Guests enjoyed a captivating blend of heartfelt ballads, Broadway classics, and timeless standards, all delivered with the artistry and charm that the Walnut Street Theatre is known for. The intimate cabaret-style setting created a warm and engaging atmosphere, making it a perfect night for theater lovers and casual attendees alike.

In addition to the stellar performances, the soirée featured a delightful spread of wine, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts, generously provided by volunteers and donors. The sweet treats were a highlight, with many attendees contributing homemade desserts to share.

With tickets priced at just $10 each, the event was an incredible value—and as expected, it sold out quickly, just as it did the year before. Those who secured their seats early were treated to a magical evening of music and community.
