A few heartfelt thank you notes to everyone who helped decorate this year. Although our sanctuary was not as full as usual, it was just as beautiful as ever!
We truly appreciated all who purchased the lovely poinsettias and the group that stayed after the service on Advent IV to help “green” the sanctuary. Since we had quite a few helpers, the work went very quickly and everyone seemed to have an enjoyable time. Thanks, too, to our Cantor Dave Harp and the choir for the delightful concert of Christmas songs, which we all enjoyed.
The finishing touches of poles and baskets was completed by Bob and Lynne Ganskopp, Paul Otto, George Boehmler, Pam Bowen, JoAnn and Dennis Lawrence and Toni Hopkins We are always grateful for the continued experience they bring to this task. A final thank you goes to the Maintenance Crew for all of their setup and take down efforts, which made our work so much easier.
We hope that next Christmas we can finally be back to better appreciate the beautiful sanctuary that we are blessed to have.
