On Feb 8 Sandy Meany and Dave Stewart entertained members of the OWLS over lunch with stories of the early church. Their parents were among the founding members of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, beginning when worship services were held at the community house. Together, they kept the audience laughing with tales of mischief, people, the beauty of belonging to a faith community, and how faith plays a role in their lives.
Serving as a backdrop for the talk was the 50th Anniversary quilt designed & crafted in 2000 by members with member photos, including Sandy’s wedding photo.
