Since SuperStorm Sandy hit in late October 2012, Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey has distributed 31 grants to individual households impacted by the storm. Grants are not given directly through this office, but in partnership with congregations. Grants have been requested for everything from rental assistance to the purchase of appliances and construction supplies. To the right is a breakdown of where grants have been distributed thus far. For additional information concerning the grants contact Lisa Barnes.
