Also let the office know if you consent to having that information shared in the Messenger and during worship.

Apply Now for St. Matthew’s Memorial Fund Scholarships!

Attention High School Seniors: The submission deadline is May 31, 2025

If you would like to be considered for a college scholarship from St. Matthew’s Memorial Fund, please pick up an application in the church office or on the bulletin board in the narthex. The application provides simple instructions for completion. However, it may take some time to gather the information needed, so you are encouraged to start the process sooner rather than later.

Dive into Engaging Topics this May at Our Adult Forum

We have an exciting lineup for our Adult Forum this month at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Moorestown, NJ. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • May 4 – Memories of 75 Years. Gather for an informal time of sharing memories from St. Matthew over the years.
  • May 11 – Who Was Bonhoeffer? Over the past year there have been many different groups trying to claim association with German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who was executed by the Nazi regime at the end of World War II. The different groups and films have portrayed very different pictures of this influential Lutheran theologian. Come learn more about who he was, what he believed, and why he continues to be important.
  • May 18 – Discussion of the front lawn. Through the current construction project, many of the plants in front of our building have been taken out. There are a variety of ideas about what should be done with the space going forward. Come to listen to different ideas, share your own, and hear some of the practical considerations.
  • May 25 – no class
