St. Matthew Lutheran Church is hosting Interfaith Hospitality Network families next week (Aug 2nd – Aug 9th). Three families (4 adults, 5 children, & 2 infants) will be staying at our church, arriving each night around 5:00 PM.
Dinner Hosts Needed
Dinner Hosts are still needed for six (6) nights – Monday thru Saturday. Dinner Hosts will arrive about 6:00 PM and remain until 8:00 PM, providing dinner for 13 people.
Please note that dinners are requested without pork.
Overnight Hosts
Overnight Hosts are still needed for two (2) nights – Friday and Saturday
Overnight Hosts will arrive about 8:00 PM , sleep in the lounge, and remain until 7:00 AM the next morning.
Greeters
Greeters are needed for three (3) nights – Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
Greeters will arrive at 5:00 PM to unlock the church and remain until about 6:00 PM, when the dinner hosts arrive.
Loading Beds & Driving to Next Church
Finally, a few individuals will be needed for Sunday (8/09) morning for about an hour from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM to load the beds onto the trailer, and drive the van/trailer to the next church.
