Bridge of Peace VBS with Cross Roads ~ July 28-August 1
It’s Cross Roads Vacation Bible School time at Bridge of Peace. Just as last year, this year offers many opportunities to serve and show God’s love to His 40–50 BOP children that are expected to attend the week of July 28th 8:30–3:00pm.
We are looking for people to be chaperones, crafters, bakers and drivers. All of us can show off our talents and gifts as able. Chaperones can be chauffer driven/carpooled to and from BOP. Sign up for morning or afternoon or all day sessions. Unable to attend and would still like to help…purchase or bake chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies.
Child sponsorship by Cross Roads is $89; please sponsor as many children as you can. Last year, SMLC sponsored 11 children. This year SMLC will provide breakfast and water for the entire week at a cost of $31 per person. Our commitment is self-funding thanks to your generosity. Sponsorship and monetary donations are welcome anytime. Any gift of any amount is deeply appreciated; simply make a notation on your offering envelope for “BOP VBS,” payable to Saint Matthew Lutheran Church.
