Open House Rescheduled to November 2nd

Expanding for All! Join Us for a Community Celebration of Our New Space

The wait is over! Join us for a community-wide celebration of our new addition on Sunday, November 2nd, from 12-2 PM. Enjoy lunch from Girl With A Grill as we dedicate our beautiful new space.

New Date: November 2nd

Due to the State of Emergency over the weekend our Open House has been rescheduled to Nov 2. We would like to that everyone who worked so hard preparing the building and grounds for the Open House, especially the property team members and all who volunteered during our Fall Clean Up on Oct 4. The grounds and property look fantastic!

After years of planning, we are celebrating the completion of our newest addition on the main level of our property and all the added space and versatility it provides Saint Matthew and our community group members. Join us for a ribbon cutting on Oct.12 from 12-2 p.m. We will be joined by Bishop Christa Compton, Senator Troy Singleton, our design and property teams, and local leaders. At 12:30 p.m. Pastor Eric Trozzo will host a brief prayer service and remarks before the ribbon cutting. Lunch is provided by Girl With A Grill in Voohees\. We’re expanding for all!

Throughout our Open House food will be served, including specialty hot dogs, hamburgers and French fries, by A Girl With a Grill, of Voorhees. Its owner LaShaun Crawford was recently honored by several business organizations for her numerous community outreach projects.

A Look Inside Our New Addition

With the new addition, the following graph and photos illustrate the expansion of storage spaces in our new sacristy. This will improve the flow and accessibility of preparing for Sunday worship and other events. As well, the old sacristy will be refurbished for use by the Property team.
