Lent Services & Studies
Join us this March for midweek prayer, contemplative studies, and community outreach as we journey through the Lenten season at Saint Matthew.

Midweek Evening Prayer
Wednesdays in Lent | 7:00 – 7:30 PM
Join us for a contemplative service using the beautiful Holden Evening Prayer liturgy. Take a few minutes each week to quiet yourself in prayer. Services are held in person and streamed on our YouTube channel.

“Behold the Lilies” Book Group
Wednesdays in Lent | 7:30 PM
After evening prayer, join us in the library or on Zoom to discuss H. Paul Santmire’s Behold the Lilies: Jesus and the Contemplation of Nature. We will share thoughts on two short chapters each week regarding ecological concern and faith.

Lent Devotional Booklets
Pick up your copy of “A Path in the Wilderness: Praying Through Lent with the Desert Fathers and Mothers.” Let the ancient insights, prayer, and simplicity of the earliest monks inspire your own Lenten journey in our noisy world.
