Cedar Run Wildlife Rescue

Outdoor “Lunch & Learn” ~ Sunday, Sept. 12, 12:30PM

Featuring a special guest speaker from Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge 

Pack a small (maybe meatless?) lunch, your reusable beverage container, and a folding chair or blanket, and join us as Cedar Run staff tell us about the important work they do in habilitating wildlife in our area. Even more interesting, they will be bringing a few of their live animals as special guests to participate in the discussion! This will be a fun, informal and informative fellowship for children, and children of all ages, and so we sincerely hope you are able to join us. Critical need for blood donors during disaster season. Did you know widespread wildfires, record-breaking heat and a busy hurricane season may impact the nation’s blood supply? On top of the toll extreme weather events take on lives of millions, disasters big and small cause the closures of American Red Cross blood drives in communities throughout the year. The Red Cross is experiencing a critical need for blood donors. Eligible donors can help ensure blood is readily available by making an appointment to give now.


What’s New?  Beginning Sunday, Sept. 19 

Fellowship Time ~ Beginning Sept. 19 after worship service.

Hopefully, you have heard about the new schedule for Sunday mornings.One of the enhanced activities is to have fellowship during the 20-30 minutes after church ends. We hope to have a team for each Sunday. We will provide guidance on where and how the event will be set up, and each team can add their own flair. More info to come. If you would like to be part of this fun service time, please reach out to Peggy Marks or Karen Widin. Installation for Pastor Eric

Tuesday, Sept.21, 7PM

The Reverend Dr. Eric J. Trozzo  will be installed as Pastor of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Moorestown, New Jersey on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Bishop Tracie L. Bartholomew will be presiding at the 7pm Worship Service.  

Co-chairs for this activity are Sue Kuhn and Ruth Fausak. After a brief kick-off meeting with Peggy and Karen, Sue and Ruth have jumped in with both feet and are diligently making plans. The Installation Service begins at 7PM with a cocktail-style celebratory event to follow. This will include finger foods, savory and sweet, along with wine and non- alcoholic beverages.
