Thank you all for your support over these past few months. We have been working diligently over the summer. Being open every Monday has been a blessing. The families in the community who brought their older children to work together to distribute bags has been amazing. People working alone in the pantry to make bags because it was not safe to commingle.
All of that being said, we have decided to go back to our regular hours beginning September. Children will be returning to school; maybe part-time in the classroom. We lose their help and the help of parents. Finding enough of our typical volunteers who have strong hands and backs and can distribute bags to cars will be a challenge. Making bags will not be a challenge; many people want to help. We will be closed Labor Day; we do need a little respite for ourselves. So, beginning Monday, September 21, we will return to 1st & 3rd Mondays from 12-2 and 5-7.
