Happy Summer from the CLF Ministry!

CHRISTIAN LEARNING & FORMATION

Happy Summer from the CLF Ministry! Though the building has been closed for some time now, CLF has been
meeting faithfully once a month to continue our Ministry.

Attention Parents: Please check your emails periodically as CLF is brainstorming different ways to keep in touch with your children over the summer.

CROSS ROADS VIRTUAL DAY CAMP

July 13-17, 10AM-Noon; (Completed Kindergarten-5th Grade) Unfortunately, Cross Roads had to make the difficult decision to cancel VBS activities at churches this year. However, they have not been deterred from fulfilling their mission and they are offering a week-long virtual day camp program for youth (completed Kindergarten through 5th grades) from July 13-17. Counselors will gather with campers on Zoom, 10AM to Noon. Those two hours will be packed with songs, games, arts & crafts, and Bible study. It is expected that campers attend all sessions of the program. The theme for Day Camp at Home is “From Generation to Generation.” Each day, campers will learn new stories from the Bible, showing how God’s love endures from generation to generation. Please visit their website for registration information. They are also offering a plethora of virtual activities over the summer; visit their website for more information. Parents, we hope you will continue to check your emails periodically as CLF is brainstorming different ways to keep in touch with your children over the summer.

KID’S KORNER

CLF is encouraging the young members of the congregation to color, draw pictures, create, or send cards to other members. A list of recipients has been prioritized of homebound and convalescing members. Members can mail on their own or drop off in the church mailslot. Please reach out to Melissa to get a name and address!

HELP WANTED

CLF is still looking for Sunday School Teachers! As of right now, we plan on starting the Sunday School year virtually. Please consider being a part of our children’s Christian education. Curriculum, supplies, and support are provided. Please reach out to Deacon Bill, if you have questions or would like to express interest.
THANK YOU!

Finally, we would like to extend a big Thank You to Kristine Butler, who has agreed to be the Education
Representative on the Reopening Task Force.
We hope that you and yours have a fun and safe summer!
