Dedication & Celebration of the Children’s Pollinator Garden

Alleluia! We were blessed with beautiful weather this Earth Day for the Children’s Pollinator Garden dedication ceremony. As a congregation, we give the gift of this garden to our youth and broader community, as a home and waystation to help pollinator populations to thrive. We dedicate it as a symbol of hope in a “new heavens and new earth, and a creation that will know the freedom it awaits. We testify to the hope that inspires and encourages us.”

Our pollinator garden is now an official Certified Wildlife Habitat® site registered with the National Wildlife Federation and New Jersey Audubon (ID #217175), and is also registered with the Million Pollinator Garden Challenge.

A special thank you to: Boy Scout Troop 42; Leonberg Nursery; Russell Gardens Wholesale; the children and youth of St. Matthew; our Sunday School teachers and Youth Ministry leaders; our Green Team members; Property Committee; our volunteers, Congregation, and Staff; and Green House Graphix.

Also thanks to the members of community groups who joined us in celebration for the dedication: Sustainable Moorestown, Save the Environment of Moorestown, the New Jersey Beekeepers Association, and the Moorestown Garden Club.
