CHRISTIAN LEARNING & FORMATION

Christmas Greetings from CLF!

We hope that all of the children that participated in this fall’s Sunday School program, “LoLing- Loving Out Loud” with Cross Roads Retreat and Luther Crest Camp, enjoyed it! The fall program concluded on November 29th with a virtual Campfire with Carols! Please join me in thanking teachers Kristine Butler, Meghan Campbell, Jana Frable, Reverend Peggy Marks, Audra Uhlig, and classroom helpers Aurelia Harp, Sophia Meany, and Dante Trozzo for all their hard work and flexibility this fall!

There will not be Sunday School programming provided this Advent, but we are planning to resume our partnership with Cross Roads and Luther Crest for winter programming beginning January 10, 2021. Please make sure to keep your eye out for email with updated communication. We also hope that you will subscribe to weekly emails from St. Matthew by going on the homepage of the website and clicking on “Subscribe to weekly emails”. CLF wishes you a joyous, safe, and blessed holiday season.

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

Youth Group

We had an awesome time in fellowship at our Annual Youth Group Bonfire. We are so grateful to the St Matthew families that joined us as well as youth and families from St Michael’s in Cherry Hill, Lord of Life in Tabernacle and Christus in Camden. We wore our masks, we kept our distance and we had a wonderful time!

First Communion ~ Jan 10 & 17, 11:15AM

Classes will last for about 40 minutes. Parents are invited to take part both weeks, but are especially encouraged for Jan. 17. First communion is planned for Feb. 7. These classes are intended for children in third grade. Classes for those in second grade are tentatively planned for April, and those families will be contacted as more details become available.
