“They [transfusions] have been so important to keep him as healthy, active and battle-ready as possible. There is hope in the generosity of strangers who are helping to heal my brave boy!”
– Branson’s mother, Erica

The American Red Cross is currently facing a blood emergency! You are desperately needed now, so blood can be available for patients during this critical time. Medical conditions and emergencies that require blood don’t stop during these times of shortage. Our blood drive helps ensure blood is available to support patients’ ongoing needs as well as unforeseen trauma situations.

Blood donations are currently being distributed faster than they are coming in, but patients and their families are still counting on us. Please help us  exceed our blood drive goal. Patients like Branson can’t afford for there to be a shortage of blood – you can make a difference!

Let’s do our part to over come this blood emergency and schedule your life saving appointment today!

  • Donate blood. See how easy saving lives can be!
  • Ask other donors face-to-face. Ask colleagues, friends and family to #GiveNow at your drive to help overcome the blood shortage and help stabilize the blood supply.
  • Spread the word. Ask friends and regular donors to share information about our blood drive and the critical need for blood on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social networks.
  • Schedule a donation for a friend. Each additional donor scheduled means more lives saved!

Please act now – patients like Branson are relying on blood transfusions! We encourage you to schedule your critically important appointment today through the Blood DonorApp, at RedCrossBlood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
