This ministry provides opportunities for children and adults to learn about the faith. It is one way the congregation helps fulfill the promise we make at each child’s baptism to “support and pray for the child in his/her new life in Christ.”

Confirmation Classes - Wednesday evenings during two six-week periods (fall and spring) for seventh and eighth graders. In addition the students participate in two "Discovery Days" to see various missions and ministries of the wider church. They also perform at least two service projects during the year and attend a week-end retreat. Confirmation Pics
Ninth grade students are involved in a mentoring program in which the Christian students "look over the shoulders" of an adult Christians. The program begins in the spring at the end of 8th grade and students are confirmed on Christ the King Sunday in November.
Adult Forum - Adult Forum will resume in September. Stay tuned.
Men's Bible Study -
Group meets at 6:30AM each Tuesday to discuss readings for the coming Sunday and also to have fellowship.
Saint Matthew Readers-
Small group that meets monthly to discuss the book read by the group.
New Member – Those interested in officially joining the congregation are invited to meet with the pastor for four sessions in the fall or spring to learn about worship, why we’re Lutheran, and more about the congregation itself. Classes for those who desire to become members are typically held in October and April.
Topical classes – Each fall and spring, the pastor leads a 4-6 week class (i.e., Bible study, “Connections – Faith in Daily Life”)
Rally Day - When regular Sunday Church School and Adult Forum hours resume.
